Local teen called back for "The Voice" | Community Spirit

A 15-year-old girl from Little Axe is one stop closer to achieving her dream after receiving a call back audition for the show "The Voice."

Julia Scott has always dreamed of singing, so she applied for the show and attended her first audition this past week in Dallas.

While there, she competed against 4,000 hopefuls to make it to the next round.

She says, "I went to Dallas this past weekend where there was over four or 5,000 people there and you just went in with a group of ten and sung one by one."

Scott's next audition is this Tuesday in Dallas, where she will have to sing four songs for the producers.

If she makes it past this round, she will be seen on "The Voice" this fall, where her fate will be in the judges hands.
